    Is there a guide for safely opening my Grado SR325is?

    The cord in the right ear has become loose so that it can pull out and get stuffed back into the can by some measure. I need to open the can to set it back into whatever was locking it into position to prevent damage.

    I need an extension cable for my Grado 325is but don't really feel like paying $40 for the Grado extension and getting 15 more feet of cable than I need. Where can I find something of similar quality but shorter?
