Post your experiences of the best dacs you have heard under $10k please.

Would a stx essence digital out to standard benchmark dac 1, have as good as sound as benchmark dac 1 usb connected to a pc with usb? Is there any difference between the two dacs? Hope that makes sense!

I will buying a set of high end dynamic headphones in a weeks time. Which do headfiers rate the best out the PS1000 grado GS1000i grado SENN HD800 I am in favour of the sennheiser at the moment. (laptop to qbd76 to graham slee solo psu1.)

I made a thread a while back asking which phones I should buy next, after owning the senn650s. I went and got the grado sr325. The grados are a really great headphone, a great contrast for the sennheisers. What are the differences between the sr325is and the rs2/1?

I have these and they sound great with the graham slee solo with PSU1. Which cans in the same price range would provide a contrasting sound to the HD650s?
