Shanling M3X Portable Player - Our smallest Android Player
Regarding MQA on Tidal: Don't hold your breath. MQA is basically dead (A good thing imho) and Tidal is coverting their catalog to HiRes FLAC... Cheers.- FlacFan

10 bands. It's system wide, so this does not require any further explanation...it would work with a pinball game if you so desire too. System wide PEQ has nothing to do with power. If the device can drive the HP / IEM it's not going to change that. Cheers.- FlacFan

HiBy R6 III (Gen 3) Android digital audio player, Dual ES9038Q2M, Class A / AB amplification switch, Snapdragon 665, Open Android 12 OS, DSD512 / PCM768
Just found that plugin in my R6 III as well. Need to give that a go sometime today. TBH, regardless of DAP, Desktop DAC/Amp or whatever: Dear manufacturer, give me power on/off, volume up/down, treble up/down, bass up/down and FORGET all other gimmicks and I will be a happy camper... Cheers.- FlacFan

@Dsnuts and those who happen to have the ISN D10 and the Neo 3 already: I'd be interested in a sweet short size comparison. It's hard to tell from pictures. If you could add 2cents to compare the sound - now that would be just awesome. Cheers.- FlacFan

Seems to me you would enjoy the HiBy R6 III. I use it with local files, use UAPP, which supports Tidal. You can run the Android Tidal app, Bandcamp app and anything under the sun. Cheers- FlacFan

There is actually more to it. This plug-in is HiBy R6 III system wide. Meaning: The settings work, regardless what app you run on that DAP. YouTube, UAPP, whatever app. Pretty cool. Oops, just saw you already mentioned that...oh well...no harm done....- FlacFan

I cannot help but thinking this is just that particular app causing all this grief. My unit is on 1.31 as well, however, after some initial testing I have abandoned the HiBy app. I just did not like the UI and this weirdo way (sliding in menu) just to exit the app. Besides it had some serious...- FlacFan

Sketchy? That means: Questionable, Fraudulent, Spoofing, not trust worthy.... Sorry, but I disagree. Never had any issue whatsoever with their web site nor with Penon. Granted this is not everyone's cup of tea, but I have done so for years. Even on an outdated Android device, I can run anything I set my mind to.
