Rockbox for iBasso DX90 dual boot with Mango (Stock Firmware)
I have to agree about L2. After trying it out the difference was large enough that I gave up Rockbox and switched back to the default firmware. Its not night and day difference by any means but I was able to hear an immediate difference.- Y2HBK

Rockbox for iBasso DX90 dual boot with Mango (Stock Firmware)
I'm still having an issue where Mango shows my album art but rockbox doesn't. I have a small number of MP3 files but most of my library is ALAC and managed via iTunes. I'm guessing I will need to use a 3rd party program of some sort to fix this since iTunes only seems to attach the album...- Y2HBK

Rockbox for iBasso DX90 dual boot with Mango (Stock Firmware)
I always used iTunes to manage my library when I had an iPod. Therefore most of my files are mp3 or ALAC files. None of my album art is displaying on my DX90 with the latest rockbox. Any ideas what I can do to fix this?- Y2HBK

Is there a way to import playlists like ones I have created in iTunes? Couldn't find anything in the dx50 manual.- Y2HBK

Interestingly enough this JUST happened to me. So I have both issues... the one you described and the one I described where the track just stops short and never moves forward.- Y2HBK

No issues here with that - but I have had issues where a track will finish and just stop playing with 2-3 seconds left. I have to hit the next button multiple times to get it to move.- Y2HBK

So for those of you in the USA that have received it, did it get to you overnight once it left Hong Kong or did it take a couple days? Mine has finally received movement , clearance processing in Hong Kong.- Y2HBK

Thanks for the quick thoughts. I had been eyeing the Fostex HP-P1 to compliment my JH13 when it comes in, but the Typhoon caught my interest too.- Y2HBK

Mac OS X Music Players - alternatives to iTunes
Im not sure I fully understand what you mean. I set the built-in output to 96/24 in audio devices, but when i try to play a file through Amarra it switches everything back to 44. Im guessing this means that no realtime conversion happens. Do you mean I would need to do something like upsample...- Y2HBK

Mac OS X Music Players - alternatives to iTunes
In Audirvana, you can set the max sample rate to 96KHz. When doing so, it shows my DAC playing at 24/96KHz like I want. I can't seem to find any similar settings with Amarra. Is this not possible? Emailed their support but no response.- Y2HBK

I will take a look at the plus sound cables, thanks for that. Im currently using my e17 with my iPod Classic, but have been looking to upgrade. I would like something that will pair not only with my iPod, but my iPhone 5 as well. Any suggestions? I have been eyeing the Fostex HP-P1.- Y2HBK

Understand. I guess I'm one of those audiophiles that would rather spend that cash on something like an upgraded cable. :D Which reminds me, time to do some research and find one.- Y2HBK

Quote: Just placed an order for mine tonight. Should have the impressions out to them by the weekend. $250 rush processing is insane. Is that what they normally charge everyone for rushing? I figured it would be something closer to the $75-$100 range.- Y2HBK

Multi-Custom In-Ear Monitor Review, Resource, Mfg List & Discussion (Check first post for review links & information)
Thanks for the thoughts. I was looking at the SE5 mainly because I've read that it is similar to the LCD-2 and GR07. I did like the signature of both. I thought what I wanted with the K3003 was essentially the HD800s on the go, but realized that I wanted something a bit warmer and "fun." The...- Y2HBK

Multi-Custom In-Ear Monitor Review, Resource, Mfg List & Discussion (Check first post for review links & information)
Too bad that Spiral Ear will not ship to the US anymore. I was leaning toward the 5-Way. I have owned my K3003i for a couple of weeks. While I enjoy them, I feel like I should have made the jump to CIEMs rather than leapfrogging to a more expensive IEM. Recommendations for a CIEM around the...- Y2HBK
