Good Small Closed On-Ear Y-Cabled Headphones?
I have a VR headset and I need to attach some headphones to it. Something like the Koss KSC35 or 75 but closed instead of open. Does anything like that exist?- blinkstar

Material to Use Inside Cups for Sound Absorption?
I'm modding a pair of headphones and am wondering what I can use inside the cups for sound absorption. Does cotton batting work? It needs to be a relatively thin material as I don't have much space to work with, and hopefully not too expensive. Any suggestions?- blinkstar

How to Equalize RF Wireless Headphones with Windows 10? Please Advise.
To be honest I haven't quite figured out how to use that Equalizer yet, other than upping the gain. Have to find a basic tutorial or something. I like Ltsb because you can shut off a lot more MS spyware.- blinkstar

How to Equalize RF Wireless Headphones with Windows 10? Please Advise.
I have two sets of wireless headphones: Hyperx Flight, and Plantronics RIG 800HD. Windows correctly recognizes the Flight headphones as headphones and--because the geniuses at Microsoft apparently think all headphones are exactly the same--it gives me no option to configure them. But when it...- blinkstar

Please Recommend a Pair of RF Headphones.
Driving myself crazy trying to decide which pair of RF headphones to go with for gaming on my PC with my Oculus Rift. I have the HyperX Flight and the Plantronics RIG 800HD. They're both okay, but I'd like to get something that sounds alright for music too. Everyone says Seinhauser but I've read...- blinkstar

How to Equalize RF Wireless Headphones with Windows 10? Please Advise.
Thanks a lot, Zenvota! Windows 10 does NOT allow headphones to be set to "full range." It only gives you that option for Speakers. Windows 10 will NOT let you reclassify a pair of RF headphones as speakers, so you can't get around the problem that way. Does Equalizer APO have a setting for this?- blinkstar

How to Equalize RF Wireless Headphones with Windows 10? Please Advise.
My Oculus Rift headphones died and I'm switching to RF headphones, which connect to my PC via a USB dongle. My problem is that the sound I'm getting is a little harsh/sibilant and I'd like to try to change it with an equalizer, but Windows 10 gives me almost no options to adjust the sound. It...- blinkstar

Is There Anyway to Pair My Creative Soundblaster Z Card with Bluetooth Headphones?
I posted a slightly different version of this question in the gaming forum--hope that's okay? I have a pair of Sony bluetooth headphones that I really want to use with my Soundblaster Z sound card and its surround sound mode. But as I am just starting to understand--they are not compatible...- blinkstar

How Do I Run Sound from My Creative Soundblaster Z Card to Bluetooth Headphones?
I hadn't realized before I bought my bluetooth headphones--Sony xb950b1e--that they would be incompatible with my Soundblaster Z car. Someone told me I might be able to pair them with an inline bluetooth adapter but I can't find a defintion of what that is, exactly. I want to pair them because I...- blinkstar

Creative Sound Blaster new series Z, Zx & ZxR
If I had to guess, I would say that is supposed to the distance between your listening position, and the location of the speakers. It wouldn't involve post-processing, but it could involve a delay in the time it takes for a particular sound to be played in that speaker. But that is just a guess.- blinkstar

RF or Wireless Headphones for VR? What Are You Using? Recommendations?
I made a DIY VIVE that I'm having a lot of fun with but I think I want to go with wireless headphones for obvious reasons. If you have ever used any RF headphones or maybe just wireless in general ... what would your recommend? I need something that doesn't leak sound, so probably closed...- blinkstar

Can I Solder Two Pieces of a Broken Jack Together for My Headphones?
The 3.55 mm headphone jack on my Denons snapped off inside the 6.35 mm adapter I was using ... before I ship them off to be re-cabled, if I soldered the stub of the jack that remains on my headphones to the severed end still stuck inside the adapter ... would it conduct sound? I tried just...- blinkstar

I want SBX Surround Sound. Should I buy the Soundblaster Z card to get SBX, or Should I Just Buy The SBX Software by Itself?
First, I already have an Auzentech X-Fi Prelude card. It's an older card, but it's never given me any problems and I'm happy with it ... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829156005 But ... It doesn't have SBX, which I've heard and consider to be superior to...- blinkstar

Should I "Upgrade" Cables for My D2000s?
I have to repair/replace the cables on my beloved Denon D2000s for the second time. I'm thinking I might want to upgrade them, at least so I hopefully won't need to repair them again anytime soon. My question: what upgrades should I be considering? I believe there is a lot of flim-flammery in...- blinkstar

JVC HA-SZ2000/1000 Impressions Thread
I guess they could be defective. By "distorted" I didn't mean they were clipping--I just mean the sound from the flamethrower sounded terrible at any volume. Vocals are somewhat muffled/metallic sounding. The soundstage seems kind of compressed together.- blinkstar
