A friend of mine is going to Tokyo this week and will pick me up a pair of IM50s. I'd be interested in a pair of IM03's but for that kinda money I'd rather read reviews first.

Jung Woo Cho, I completely agree with you about the SE425's sound signature...even after letting them burn in for 100 hours, I was convinced mine were broken or something and sent them back under warranty. The new ones weren't any better, sadly.   I'm definitely interested in A-T's new IM...

Can anyone compare these to the SE425s, or to ATH-CKN70s? I've always been meh about my 425s and have really fallen in love with Audio-Technica's IEMs, but the one thing A-T doesn't have is a low-profile IEM with over-the-ear cables. I love the fit of the 425s but they just aren't very exciting...

If the IM03s get favorable reviews (and retain the A-T house sound), then that will be all the motivation I need to sell my SE425s. I only wish that A-T was offering these with clear housings and cables.

Aww dang, this is exactly what I was hoping A-T would come out with...my wallet is already cowering (though the list prices actually seem quite reasonable).

Nice to see another owner of Control 1 Pluses on here, I have a pair in white. Great little speakers and I love the fact they went the extra mile and used rubber woofer surrounds, so no worries about foam rot.

Hmmm, I may give this a shot with my SE425s. Ever since discovering Audio-Technica IEMs they've just been sitting in a drawer, as I don't find them terribly exciting (at least in stock form).

The Control 10s aren't what I'd consider suited for a small space, they have pretty large cabinets. Honestly the only times I've seen them used is for PA or commercial background music installations. If you want something from the classic JBL Control line, look for a set of Control 1s or 5s. I...

I thought about the blue ones, but didn't like that the cables were also blue.   And sorry, I haven't heard the GR07's...I can only compare them against CKN50's, CKM500's, SE210's and SE425's. Head-Fi hasn't completely gotten to my wallet yet.

Yeah, both my CKM500's and new CKN50's were purchased from a reputable dealer in Japan, and were labeled as made in China. My AD700's were made in China too, and I bought those from Amazon.
