Your 5 newest CDs (or LPs)
Bop - The Amazing Adventures of One Curious Pixel Sub Focus - Out of the Blue Black Sun Empire - Endangered Species Pt. 3 (Just need part two now) Really enjoying the Bop album, one of the best electronica albums I've heard in a long time. Very reminiscent of early Aphex Twin. -
Average Joe Audiophile?
I'm a poor university student. I manage to afford my stuff by casually DJing and doing various odd jobs. I still live at home, so that makes life easier. My biggest money drain is generally unibar and fast food.- Arbite

Getting "called-out" for not wearing the Beats
The beats are really terrible to DJ with anyway. They are way to bulky to keep around your neck, and the pressure is exceedingly uncomfortable for long periods of time, to top that off, the swivel feature is just plain annoying. Isolation is good though. But I still prefer my SRH840's or my...- Arbite

Which portable headphone has reference class/hi-fi sound quality?
I actually prefer the signature of the ESW9's to the 25's. IMHO, they just handle everything thrown at them better on average. However their sound is far from reference, being very warm and having a surprising amount of bass. However, the wood scratches easily, and while they are one of the best...- Arbite

ATH-ESW9 fake or no?
A quick comparison with my ESW9s would indicate to me that they are fake. The finish on the cups is hugely different and the writing for left is also much better.- Arbite

Aussie & NZ Head-Fiers Corner
Headphonic is reasonable priced for cans above the $100 mark. But KSC75's for $50? A bit to pricey for me, I ended up snagging a pair for $30 including shipping for my mums birthday the other day.- Arbite

Your Favourite; ATH-ESW9, B&W p5, or HD 25-1 II's?
The esw9's are more comfortable that the senns imho, the lambskin earpads are really nice. Because of the shape of the pad, if your ears arent to big, they partially sit around the ear. That said, if you get the velour pads for the HD25's are ludicrously comfortable as well.- Arbite

Headphones similar to Shure srh750dj in terms of bass
Have you considered the Pioneer HDJ line? Decent headphones with that u signature. The HFI580's are also highly recommended on head fi, for that kind of response, but I've never had the chance to have a detailed listen to them.- Arbite

Your Favourite; ATH-ESW9, B&W p5, or HD 25-1 II's?
I can't speak for the p5's, but I do prefer the esw9's of the other two. They are warmer and I would say richer than the 25's, and so far have handled every genre I have thrown at them beautifully. However, the 25's would be very good for your genre preferences.- Arbite
