La Figaro 339
Hello everyone, have had the 339i for a bit now and have gotten used to the stock tubes; which to me sound good. Any recommendations for best tubes for this amp? I'm pairing them with a HD6XX for context.- MusicJunky

Empire Ears - Discussion & Impressions (Formerly EarWerkz)
How far do people insert their tips? Just past second bend? I feel like too far in and they start to sound thicker. Maybe I'm just not use to how much heavier notes sound and the added body since coming from a Westone 4r. It almost sounds like the music is blasting from behind a wall or...- MusicJunky

Hey guys for those using the Zeus, what is their favourite tips? Using the final audio ones for the MD Zeus, the sound is very thick and I feel like it should sound alot cleaner. Or maybe my ears haven't adjusted to how they sound yet since its my first high end iem. Pairing with a chord mojo as...- MusicJunky

Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆
So it seems like the pairing between Zeus and Mojo is nice but some are reporting that there is hiss? Are the Zeus just really sensitive? I've got a Zeus incoming and am planning to buy a Mojo and maybe at some point a Poly as well if I like the pairing.- MusicJunky

@olddude thanks for the suggestions. Yea you're right that its synergy and not price. I'll probs just get used to see how the Zeus sounds first before doing anything else. Was just curious and abit excited to see what people use to get the most optimal pairing. So you wouldn't recommend mojo...- MusicJunky

Alright seems like I'm saving up for lionheart then; have to let my wallet breath for abit after purchasing Zeus. Its been 7 years since my first mid fi experience with my Westone 4r. Hopefully it was a worthwhile investment. Has anybody got the 1960s and Zeus pairing? At 1.5k Sgd they cost as...- MusicJunky

@olddude Is the 8 wires ares very thick? What about the plus model? I actually quite like neutral sound signatures and I'm sure I'll love the Zeus. What a meant before is something warm like mojo/poly would give Zeus abit more warmth in it's signature instead of completely neutral? I'm coming...- MusicJunky

Owner of MD Zeus here! Cant wait for them to arrive. What do you guys recommend for an aftermarket cable? And what about pairing them with a Mojo/Poly combo? That should give it more of a warm and smooth signature since they are already neutral right?- MusicJunky

Cheers mate. I guess the next question would be whether theres that much difference between the universal vs custom. Mass drop one seems very tempting at half price of the custom. Do you reckon its possible to get it reshelled into custom?- MusicJunky
