Review: Sunrise Xcited and Xcape Impressive Edition
Hello Joker, first of all, i'd like to thank you for your giant IEM comparison thread, helped a lot. About two years ago i bought a pair of RE0's and loved them to death, but i lost them. So, now i'm going to buy a new pair of IEM's because i have a vacation coming up, and well i want some...- Reaper0294

RE0's, still a king, or dethroned?
So, i think it's been about two christmas's since i went on my headphone craze on Head-fi. I bought my Beyerdynamic DT-770 after trying some Monster Turbines (Uncomfortable for me, didn't wow me either) and really enjoy my DT-770. Then i had a trip coming up and needed some nice IEM's, so i went...- Reaper0294

How does it get better from here? (RE0)
Well. I didn't exactly mean an upgrade but i get what that i'd need to upgrade to understand how different they were. I'm just wondering like, if theres more clarity, more detail in other high end phones. Like, better highs/balance or something.- Reaper0294

How does it get better from here? (RE0)
I mean other then increased bass. Do the highs/mids and detail get even better if i were to move onto a more expensive IEM or even a new pair of cans? Got my RE0's for Christmas and I absolutely love them. Definitely prefer the balanced, detailed kind of sound signature. And I was just...- Reaper0294

I cannot for the life of me, change tips.
Had the same problem with the monster turbines. So, i know it's me. I just cannot figure out how to change tips. I try stretching them on the tube of the IEM, using something else to stretch them and nothing. Swear, sometimes I think I'm just mentally dumb or something. :/ Any tips or...- Reaper0294

Head-Direct RE0 Appreciation Thread
Anybody have/had heard or used the Monster turbines and could do a quick comparison for me? Used to have the monster turbines. Tried them for an entire trip to florida (12hours there, 12hours back) and had them burning in like 2-3 nights before the trip. I was really disappointed for the...- Reaper0294

Cheapest price you've seen Dt770's?
I got my DT-770 pro (80ohm) for $100 used on ebay. This was used and without a warranty though. Cans are made well, and that was all I had, so went through with it. Been great so far- Reaper0294

[REVIEW] Head-Direct RE0 - a new contender for the best IEM
I've only owned one IEM before. That's the Monster Turbines and I found them completely unappealing for their $100ish dollar price point (this was a while ago) They were definitly burned in for a while, the sound was alright but the comfort was not good at all for me and for the price I didn't...- Reaper0294

Help determining which SS I want
I'm looking for some new IEM's for christmas this year. After doing a lot of research, I've decided pretty much between the RE0 and the PL50 (The Eterna doesn't seem to have a concrete consensus yet) I think that I would like a balanced, more accurate but still kind of fun IEM. This sounds...- Reaper0294

[DEAL ALERT] $65: Refurbished Audio-Technica AD700
How do these compare to the Beyerdynamic DT770? I have a pair of those, not sure if i should jump on either the AD700 or the other for that price.- Reaper0294

Beyer DT770---80 OR 250?
I'd suggest you try them both and then decide which you like more. Nothing's more valuable and true then what YOU hear. Is that a possibility for you?- Reaper0294

First pair of good can's, finally made a decision
Just bought them. Beyerdynamic DT770 pro 80ohms (ohm maybe), Auditioned them at Guitar Center and loved them, and ended up buying them despite a few other suggestions. Guess my previous disappointment with the Monster Turbines made me only believe in what I could hear. Got them on ebay for...- Reaper0294

BeyerDynamic owners unite...
Hi, I'm looking for a decent/good fairly cheap amp to power the DT770's. What would be some good choices? Also, anybody know of a good deal on the DT770 pro's? Thanks- Reaper0294

I saw a review of the open A700, and there was mention of a lack of bass. I think for gaming and a lot of the genres i listen to bass is pretty needed. Of course, vocals need to be good also.- Reaper0294

Bump for answers about the HFI-780. Oh and if anybody knows a good place to buy headphones like the DT770, since I'm pretty interested in that headphone. Also if someone could point me in the direction of a review for the A700, I thought I searched for it before but didn't find it, but I...- Reaper0294

Looking to upgrade/first set of good can's
After going to the place to demo, I tried 3 phones. Sennheiser HD280 Audio Technica M50 DT770 Definitely don't like the sennheiser, it hurts my head and the sound quality isn't up to snuff with the other two. The DT770 was the most comfortable, while the sound quality was pretty close...- Reaper0294

Looking to upgrade/first set of good can's
Well, mainly due to sound leakage for gaming and the occasional movie. I also find the more isolation, then the more immersion, which I do like.- Reaper0294
