I saw a review of the open A700, and there was mention of a lack of bass. I think for gaming and a lot of the genres i listen to bass is pretty needed. Of course, vocals need to be good also.

A700s are closed. AD700s are open.

By all means Get Denon D2000s they are VERY easy to find for $200. And have the ability to be moded later to be LA2000 which rival the Elite Dynamics.

IMO, they don't.

To the OP: There are many different Dt770 models and they don't sound the same, so you would have to find out which specific model you want.

That would be the DT770 pro. It was the only type of them i auditioned.
