    Bag for iBasso D10 Cobra & Cowon D2

    I like the idea of a pelican...over a bag; I might do that -- however, a really slim case that will protect the rig from damage is what I still need. Here are the most recent photos. Also, does anyone know how to shrink those elastic wristbands? I'm not much of a do-it-yourselfer.

    If anyone has any references or knows anyone in particular that could fit my needs, please PM me their names. I would really appreciate it - I don't know too many people despite my join date.

    Thanks, I'll go by the local camera and see if I can find anything that'll work.

    Bag for iBasso D10 Cobra & Cowon D2

    I did check them out, but none of them seem compact enough for biking/hiking (dusty) while still having access to the touchscreen. The Mini Bag would be nice for the DJing supplies, but yikes, $45 for a simple case, $10 just for shipping? :\

    Bag for iBasso D10 Cobra & Cowon D2

    bump, still looking for a solution. I ordered some elastic wristbands to hold the D2 and the D10 together, but I still need a bag since I'm basically a portable DJ.

    Bag for iBasso D10 Cobra & Cowon D2

    Not sure what lod setup is and I took a look at the hippocases. My main concern is that it seems like it's designed for an ipod and the D2 has a touchscreen as well as being larger. If it still would fit, I'd get it...it just doesn't look like it would. I would like something that I could change...

    Bag for iBasso D10 Cobra & Cowon D2

    Hey guys, I've an iBasso D10 Cobra amp (55*21*104mm), a Cowon D2 (78.0 X 55.4 X 16.6 mm) and some IE8s. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a carrying case when I go hiking/biking? The smaller the better, but I'd also like to be able to have everything connected and playing...

    Opinion about IEMs

    Another question...how would the IE8, Shure 530s and UMX3's shortcomings fair if I used the Cowon's D2 built-in equalizer?

    Opinion about IEMs

    Thanks for all the replies, they're very helpful. My budget for some IEMs is no more than $300-350 (used of course). I'd probably buy used from someone here if someone ends up having what I need for sale.

    Opinion about IEMs

    I prefer a sound that is pretty balanced, but I like to "feel" the bass and have the highs/mids keep up. I'm not too crazy about the wood on the 500s, but if they're really close to the IE8's then I could certainly use the money saved.

    Thanks for your condolences. Why don't some people agree the JVCs compare to the IE8s?

    ...there something I should look at instead? I managed to get my hands on an iBasso D10 Cobra so I'll probably be using that. (It came with AD8656*2, LMH6643*2 and two dummy adapters. I have no idea what they'll do to the sound). I really liked the bass adjustment on the IE8's...it surprised...

    Sound Card Suggestions for Optical Out (TosLink)

    I, for one, can absolutely not recommend any Sound Blaster card when it comes to connecting an Xbox 360 via optical. They are plagued with popping, clipping, crackling and latency issues that haven't been addressed by Creative since...I don't know when. I've had the exact same issue on both my...

    Can a Xbox 360 play through an Auzen X-Meridian?

    It should work, but you will need your computer turned on and make sure that the SPDIF input isn't muted. I use this method with my Sound Blaster X-Fi Fatility and it works...well. In theory. It just has a lot of issues that give me reason to never buy a Sound Blaster card again.

    Senn HD280s -> ?

    Well after speaking with a few friends and getting their impressions (based on what I listen to) I decided to go for the K701's. It was felt between the three of us that it was less "risky" to go with the K701's in terms of change of sound from the HD280's compared to the SA5000. I also...

    Senn HD280s -> ?

    Alright so after doing some more reading on the SA5000's, I'm a little less skittish about them. I've been trying to find some information on how to make them have less potential to become tiresome to listen to over long durations of music listening but haven't had much substantial luck yet. Any...

    Senn HD280s -> ?

    Thanks for the suggestions. I'm definitely intrigued by the K701s though I can certainly see how they wouldn't hold up too well to abuse. I assume you can get a nice case for these though? I've been spending my time trying to decypher your recommendations for amps since I have spent zero time...

    Senn HD280s -> ?

    I've been pulling my hair out for the last few days being completely overwhelmed with all the different options out there so I, once again, am coming to the Head-Fi community for some help. My dilemma is that I have a wide range of needs and I'd like to either have one set of cans that can...

    Archos 604 amp thoughts & recommendations

    Thanks for the links HeatFan12, I'm checking them out now. Finding a DIY person to manage the job is certainly an interesting proposition. Now, instead of researching equipment, I'm going to have to start researching members to figure out who is up to the task! Since I've never tried IEMs...

    Archos 604 amp thoughts & recommendations

    Thanks for the reply. And yeah, tell me about it. I snagged myself a pair of V-moda Vibes last night and am still debating between the ATs and beyers. I realize the beyers need an amp (even the 80ohm version?) but if it's unrealistic to have/need a portable amp with the 604 on the go then...
