Thanks for the help everyone. Yup I have since used the egger lacquer, it's at a little better but still not glossy enough. Its almost as if on the ones from wizard at noble audio there is a separate layer of transparent resin on top, it looks so good. Like there is a glass coating or...- zern_c

The concept is great, but I would expect the sound to be quite different. The zs10 in its original plastic case does not use acoustic tubing but in the custom shell i would expect the use of acoustic tubing. Having tried a few iems, these are my choices. 1. UM mentor v3. Details in heaps. Only the flamenco can come close 2. Jomo flamenco. Slightly small soundstage though... 3. U18t + Hansound Venom. I've got a few recommendations, based off my experiences testing iems in Singapore. 1. JH13v2- I used to own them, they had great detail and incredible bass but the top end was slightly rolled off.
