same story for VAT in italy, even for the gk10 sadly. GK10 and GK80 are a quite different listening experience, GK80 is less 'impactful' but more clear and definite, i'm not yet as comfortable as with the GK10 but the process is still going on.

after another night of burn-in i am getting a very spacious yet mid-centric sound, bass is definetly coming but is still quite recessed, loose and uncontrolled, i am very confident that this will change for the better as burn-in proceeds. even the response to v4a is getting better and better...

my set arrived yesterday, listening and burning in with the same hardware & software used with gk10. as i expected, no quality issues at all, i can only imagine the amount of effort geek wold has put into that aspect after the problems they had with the gk10. i'm curious about the issue with...

are the gk80's ba and piezos the same of gk10 ones or are they different models?

GK10 can be excellent for the price, more experienced people than me say they give you a glimpse of how a totl iem sounds for less than 50$, i can say that they are a fantastic improvement over the zax, silky smooth and balanced yet revealing, dynamic, airy and detailed yet powerful and punchy...

so you received only the gk10 and not the full package? it sounds logical... in my full package there was an additional set of tips with wider bore as many users said it was better. extremely nice from geek people indeed.

did you receive the wide bore silicone tips set? for me they're a very good set of tips. the care for customers reviews about the old stock cable has been one of the key factor for me to jump on the train and now the new tips set...
