Sony WF-1000X discussion thread: Truly wireless IEM with Active Noise Cancelling!
I can't seem to pair these to my MaBook Pro. With my bluetooth keyboard, trackpad connected at all time, I can pair Airpods and a Sennheiser Momentum, no problem, but not the Sony. I wonder why? Any help will be greatly appreciated.- zackzack

Can you pair these Sonys to a laptop like MacBook Pro? Do you need a software like Sony Connect to do this?- zackzack

Sony WF-1000X discussion thread: Truly wireless IEM with Active Noise Cancelling!
Hi forum, I can't seem to pair my WF100XM3 with my 2015 MacBook Pro. Anything to do with the fact I have a bluetooth keyboard and trackpad already paired with the MBP? I tried to disconnect and "forget" my 2 other earphones from the Bluetooth menu. Can't seem to pair. But they pair very...- zackzack

It's either these Hifiman or Fostex T60 RP. Which one should I get?- zackzack

Fostex T60RP
I plugged T60 into my MacBook Pro and it sounds more than acceptable. This Fostex is truly one of the best bargains around. Any cheap-ass desktop dac/amp will do: iFi, Audioquest Dragonfly, Schiit Fulla. These are not Beyer or Sennheiser, have fun, don't spend too much on exotic amplifiers- zackzack

Fostex T60RP
I just got the T60RP. Planar Magnetic is awesome and doesn't have to be super expensive. No more peaky treble.- zackzack

Somebody needs to do an in-depth on the sonic quality of T60RP vs Denon D7200. Has it been done?- zackzack

Seriously? Not even Beyer DT 1770? Or Denon/Fostex D7200?- zackzack

Marantz - HD-Amp1 (2016 Brand New DXD, DSD256 USB DAC)
I wish Marantz would release a bigger unit equipped with more power, 100W/channel or so, in the near future. There are reviews that say AMP1 is capable of driving a pair of floorstanders but 35w/ch may not be sufficient for more demanding speakers.- zackzack

Marantz HD-DAC1
I am planning use this with Sennheiser HD800s. Anyone has compared DAC1 to Sennheiser's own HDVD800 or the more recent HDV 820? I have sampled the pairing of HDV 820 with HD800s in a shop, and wow, that little amp has the bass so tight, so tight....- zackzack
