The Anti Grado?
Currently I have the Grado SR225 and the Shure SE530. I was wondering what the full sized anti grado headphone would be? When I say, anti grado, I mean a sound signature that would be opposite of the grado's sound. Something bassy, laid back, and good soundstaging. Everything that the grado...- Woobies

New hybrid amp by Little Dot, I+
So if the midrange is so lacking on the Pro 750s, wouldn't you therefore want a very tubey sound to bring the mids out? Like a Darkvoice 332 or something? I imagine the accuracy and "shrill" nature of SS amps would just exacerbate the Pro750s sound signature.- Woobies

As for headphones, the Grado SR225s if you really want a rocking can, or the Denon D2000s if you...- Woobies

Headphones with the most bass impact/SLAM, ~$250 +-$50
X2 on the ultrasones. They are exactly what you're looking for. They have the PRAT and speed of the Grados, while also having slamming bass. Check out the Pro750s or Pro950s if you have the extra dough.- Woobies
