Regarding my question, it only refers to new, unworn, unopened and sealed pads. I would like to know if these velour pads have a SHELF LIFE, meaning if the material starts to age and lose its properties WHILE ON THE SHELF, after 2-3 years.

That is interesting. Not that I doubt it, but the DAC was operated using the KS or WASAPI driver modes in a player that recognises them (like foobar), right ? Just checking

Thanks for the info. BTW I'm not sure if I'm reading this right: are the line preamp outputs on the 10.x the same as the DAC outputs ? That is does the volume also control the DAC outputs (RCA / XLR) ?   If so is there an operating mode for "pure DAC" and one for "DAC + line preamp" or are...
