  You won't "Shred the unit", you may kill the flash where the F/W is stored. You can then just order a new f/w chip from Audio-gd. Your location may make the shipping not worth it ;)

I was looking at doing the same I assume we need to solder some wire from "somewhere" to the Amanero card, not too worried about that one. As for the MCU issue , not sure. I am a  bit worried if there is no MCU update since all the other DAC's got that. So thus far I held off, I might order...

Pretty sure  i've seen SR-009 at Kingsounds flagship store in MK. If I recall i demo'ed a set... but that was a few years a go too.

  Yep same, unscrewed the top black screws. Then pulled the head band up on each side as if I was extending it, popped off, done.   Agree, I had mine on low ring count, now its closer to middle.

The LCD leather support band was VERY well $ spent. Not that I got pain from the LCD3's but they feel SO much lighter on my head now.

  Thanks for the explanation. Not that I found the LCD to be very uncomfortable, unless its say hours on end then it starts to get a little. Sadly for me the ebay listing won't ship to Hong Kong.

Yeah It looks like it may fit size wise.. Wonder if kingwa will offer a TXO upgrade too?
