ASIO4All Explanation
I have a question about bit perfect. I listen at work and was using kernel streaming and I used Wasapi at home with foobar 1.7 and mostly flac files. I was listening to the National, and everything just sounded awful. It hissed about as loud and evenly with the lyrics, and anything that went low...- tusk

Flawless albums
Pink Floyd: The division bell Call me weird but it's my favorite Pink Floyd album. I love it from the scratchy start to the dueling guitar end. Phillip Glass: The Hours OST Magnificent from beginning to end. Nujabes: Metaphorical Music Hydeout Productions: 2nd Collection... -
Need some new Hip Hop
I really love Nujabes, including everything he produced. More mellow, but good stuff. -
SR60-Mod
I just got a pair of SR-60i's and I love them. I have a pair of HD280pros and some marshmallows, and these blow them away. I plan on making them look and sound as nice as those pictured above. So far, I've only taken out the cloth and quarter modded the extra sennheiser 414 pads I got. More to...- tusk

Anyone hear play an instrument or sing?
I took piano lessons back in the day, ad then I stopped and couldn't even play marry had a little lamb. Last year I started again, and can play alright. Now I'm learning guitar. It sucks to learn when i can do the same thing on piano so much more easily. I just get frustrated really fast, but... -

Audiophile Linux software
Thanks a bunch. It works and I like it better than Amarok. It takes way less memory and it's got a decent gui. Is there any way to make it stop after the current song, or see your entire library, organized by artist, and then album?- tusk

I 'm new to linux, so please go through how to's very carefully. I think I have MDP installed, and I have GMPC, but there are no songs in the library and I can't add any. I tried installing gimmix, but same thing. How do I add my music onto this player? Do I need to install for MPD or...- tusk

Audiophile Linux software
I think I tried every single player available in the Add-remove programs list. Only amarok and audacious will play all my songs and I hate the playlist in audacious. Everything else seems to crash randomly, and I couldn't get any of them to output to jack. Can I just run Foobar through wine...- tusk

Audiophile Linux software
Thanks for all this info. I tried using Juk, and it won't play any music. And I didn't like Audacious. I installed jack, and OSS, but I can only get amarok to work right now. Do you have any idea how to get Juk to work? Once I do have it working how do I set up Jack with it?- tusk

Audiophile Linux software
I just switched to Linux. I was using Foobar2000 to play my music in windows, but it isn't supported in Linux. I would like Asio output, the best sound and a good way to sort through music like Itunes or like Foobar. So what is the best player for Linux? While I'm at it what is a good ripper...- tusk
