Meze Audio 109 Pro
Valid points for sure but R&D is the same for most good quality companies - whether they design a projector, a TV, speakers or headphones. I have more arguments to use but hey, this is not the thread for it :) Have a nice day, Kelvin- tuby sound

Meze Audio 109 Pro
Reason why I settled for a <$500 headphones and forbid myself to buy something more expensive... Been in the sound game for a long time and I know how it works... If something sounds good, you can have higher markup on that product. For $4999, I can buy a Sony or JVC projector - ratio VS...- tuby sound

Well, it might be a waste for you but for my situation, a pair of headphones is all I can use right now... I have everything I need: 4k projector, 7.3.2 sound system, AVR with Dirac, etc... Problem (if I can call it that) is that I have 2 toddlers and I can only enjoy and relax while watching...- tuby sound

Great post, could you please tell me which in your opinion sounds "denser"/fuller? Regarding the bass, which has the most volume ? My guess is LCD-X but I want to be sure lol Thank you, Kelvin- tuby sound

You have a really good point. Not knowing their business strategies, we can only speculate at best. Keep on being a small company or expend their offerings... Only time will tell. As much as I love to discuss about this topic, I believe we should keep it about the Verum 1 Kelvin- tuby sound

All fair points for both of you... I'm just gonna say one last thing regarding the price: In the Focal Utopia headphone, there's a pair of beryllium drivers (2*tweeters) and the headphone costs €4,000 In car audio, the Utopia n°7 used to have an MSRP of €1,800. That's for a pair of beryllium...- tuby sound
