From what I know there are no Android or IOS tablet with toslink output. What you could do is to use and usb-to-toslink converter with an Windows tablet. Thou good windows tablets are almost non existant. :(

What about Cowon D3? It has android just as your Desire HD so you should be able to use the same program on it. It plays flac and from what i heard it sounds really good. Check it out!

This is great news, hopefully it will land in Europe as well   But, $494 for 64GB? That's a bit to heavy in my opinion!

The problem with no appstore isn't really cowon's fault, google doens't allow android devices without telephone function to have their appstore. But hopefully someone can make a hack to get it to work.  The slugginesh could probably be solved a bit with an uppgrade to 2.2 so let's hope Cowon...

My first thought was, this thing is big. But then you consider how much futures it packs: DAC, Amp and a battery, then it feels very resonible. I'm definatly going to have my eyes open for this one when it comes out!
