The IEM/Portable Headphones Deal Alerts Thread - Closed! Use the Deals Thread III instead.

http://sellout.woot.com/offers/monster-diddybeats-in-ear-headphones-2   Monster diddy beats for $64.99. Pink only. I'm not sure how good of a deal it is, and it's only the one color, but figure someone might want to jump on it.

    JVC HA-FX1X Xtreme Xplosive Impressions

Quote:   Of course, just a week after giving in and picking up the FX1X, ha. I'm excited to hear the new version after reading your review of them though.

    The ATH-CKS77.

Quote: I'll be very interested to know if you find out for sure those are legit. I was eyeing the auction earlier myself, but seems to have a few too many red flags IMO.

IEM in between the M4 and IE80/800

Any comments on the sound signature of the gr07? Looking at the amazon reviews they seem like a very analytical IEM rather than a V signature.

IEM in between the M4 and IE80/800

Also, 16-20ish ohms would be preferable, as they will be driven by my cell phone a large portion of the time.

IEM in between the M4 and IE80/800

I'm currently on my second pair of M4's. In both, the left side driver has had mid range distortion at higher volume levels. According to mp4nation's website (presumably accurate), the M4 only has a continuous power rating of 4 mw, compared to even the M2 at 10 mw. Sennheiser's website doesn't...

    [Review] Brainwavz M4

Alright, that makes sense. The concept of driver flex is fairly new to me since the CX 300's I was using for the last 3 or 4 years had none whatsoever. Is the M4 pretty typical in the amount of driver flex it has, or is it on the high side? It's not a huge deal, but it is fairly annoying; I'm...

Quote: Is there typically a correlation between high sensitivity and driver flex? I can see how that would be the case.

    JVC HA-FX1X Xtreme Xplosive Impressions

Well, for what it's worth, these are back down to $26.60... maybe the seller is paying attention to this thread? Not as good as the deal on ebay, and I'm still very tempted to try these out and compare to my M4's.

    JVC HA-FX1X Xtreme Xplosive Impressions

Quote: What other styles did you test these out with? I love a versatile IEM, but it has to be able to do classical well.   Quote:   Much better deal! Thanks for posting that up. The CKS77 is probably more worthwhile, but at that price, those are likely the best budget bass.

    [Review] Brainwavz M4

I'm still burning in my second pair, got about 25 hours or so on them so far. On both pairs I'm hearing an initial mid bass hump that slowly smooths out and starts to balance with increasing sub bass. Sent my first pair back due to defects before I could even finish burn in, but that's the trend...

    JVC HA-FX1X Xtreme Xplosive Impressions

Anyone else notice that the price of these on amazon went from $24 a week and a half ago, to $29 last week, to $39 today? At $45 shipped, these don't seem like nearly as much of a bargain, especially when the hippo vb is the same price.

What should a good seal feel like?

Quote: I know exactly what you're talking about, but couldn't get a good feeling with that either. I ordered up some triple flange tips to try those out, I expect better results with those.

    Sennheiser IE80's Impressions Thread

It may have been covered in this thread already, but does anyone know what frequency range is boosted with the bass dial? Or if it causes a specific peak, or where the roll off occurs, anything along those lines. Thanks.

    BASS!
