I am seriously thinking about the 900's. I am wondering how they compare to the ATH M50. There is a big price difference and I wonder if they are worth it.- The Fire Snake

Audio Techniqua ATH-M50 vs Ultrasone Pro 900
Thanks for the response. I love my M50, I have no compliants with them at all. They sound great with the electronic music I listen to, but I am curious. Are the 900s worth the extra money? They are like $200 to $250 more than the M50. Is there just a very small improvement from the M50? ...- The Fire Snake

Audio Techniqua ATH-M50 vs Ultrasone Pro 900
I am pleased with my M50, but I am curious about the 900. Can anyone who has heard both give me a comparison? There is a significant price difference between the 2. I am wondering if the pro 900 is worth it over the M50. I listen to mainly tech house, progressive music. Thanks.- The Fire Snake

About to buy ath m50s...bit nervous
I have been using my M50s for a few months and absoluetly love them. They are a steal at their price. I listen to a lot of Electronica, specifically progressive house, and they sound awesome. I use them at work, unamped, straight into an ipod and they sound awesome. I actually look forward...- The Fire Snake

Just got the HD650s, not pleased. Please help!
Quote: No, but I bought them from a person who had barely used them. They are basically brand new and in mint shape with all the accessories. They were also bought new from an authorized shop and I have the paperwork as well. Keep an eye on the for sale section for them ;)- The Fire Snake

Where is the list of authorized sellers of BeyerDynamic headphones?
So what does this mean? Those are the only recognized places in the whole US? What about online retailers?- The Fire Snake

Just got the HD650s, not pleased. Please help!
Thanks for all the comments guys, but I think I will be selling the HD650. They sound nice and reveal a lot of detail but I think I will prefer a different sound signature with the type of music I listen to. I don't want to keep playing with it anymore to get it to sound the way I want.- The Fire Snake

Just heard the DT770 Pro 80 ohm - question
I also thought the DT700 would have plenty of bass, but trust me, off of the setup I was listening to them through, the bass was very recessed. Both my HD650 and M50 have a TON more bass.- The Fire Snake

Just heard the DT770 Pro 80 ohm - question
I just heard the BeyerDynamic DT770 pro 80 ohm headphone. I heard it at a local guitar center and they plugged it into some kind of complicated mixer that had a headphone port. The mixer had about a million dials and what not. Anyways, I really liked the sound but felt it needed to be...- The Fire Snake

Just got the HD650s, not pleased. Please help!
Well guys I wanted to report back. I have been using my HD650 using my uDac. It has made a HUGE difference, the HD650's sound very very very nice now. The difference is very noticible from using the crappy laptop dac to the udac, not a small placebo type thing. The HD650s reveal a lot more...- The Fire Snake

What would be an upgrade to the M50 within the Audio Technica line?
Quote: I don't see it on the Audio Technica's USA site. I really like the sound of my M50s. I figured a higher end Audio Technica headphone would sound even better, but retain the same house sound, but if they all sound different then I don't know. I am amazed how nice the M50's...- The Fire Snake
