Which of the tgxear buds are bassy, if any, past or present? I like the performance of my Serratus black sand, but do wish it had more bass. Wonder if Jim ever made something that fits that need.

I didn't realize the VE megatron was a DAC/Amp, I thought it was just an amp. I want to try the Audiotechnica R70x, and will probably need an amp to go with them; I plan to get the fiio k7.

I'm looking for a neutral sound signature with good instrument separation and detail, with the caveat that the headphone also has light weight since I have neck issues with wearing headphones too long. These two are currently the best two I've found on my research, but I'm open to suggestions...

Thanks, that's a great outline to work with. Shame the magni doesn't come with a 4.4mm input. I'll see if I can find a good amp in the $100~150 price range with a 4.4 input.
