Need two recommendations -- a cheap/budget set of headphones and a midrange ($300ish?) for gaming only (no mic needed)
Hi all, I have the DT990s Pros right now, but given the cable isn't removable I am thinking it may be a good idea to give this one to my oldest son and upgrade my own. Also, I need a good (preferably open back so they hear me yellin!) set of headphones that are inexpensive for my younger son...- Shyatic

Best gaming headset -- I have an amplifier, budget of less than $500
Hi all, I currently have the Beyerdynamic DT990s plugged into a GOXLR amplifier and they are great. However, my son damaged his headphones and it gives me an opportunity to upgrade my own and give him these. I already have the amplifier, and on the high end budget is $500 (though I'm not...- Shyatic

Inexpensive over-ear travel headphones with detachable cable?

I like the detachable cord since the odds are they will trip on it and break it, so this avoids that issue. Any other suggestions? The...- Shyatic

Need new cans.. closed, comfortable, keeps outside noise out, and lightweight?

I have a pair of HD 280 Pros which I have liked for a long time, but now that my kids got their hand on it they are broke! Admittedly, they are heavy on my head which is a huge annoyance, and the cord is so long I can't wind it up or hide it. I'd prefer detachable cables, so that I can...- Shyatic
