These look almost identical to my genuine TB, the grubby pic of which is below ... but my DBS pack has Level X on them ? My TB had great bass but was not bright. That said AQ run in their cables from this series for 36 hours before despatch apparently which I don't expect has happened with...

I have this feeling from what I have read over many pages and many forums ... the IC's seem almost identical but I would not buy the power cables.

Be really interested to know your thoughts as my genuine TB is stunning in my system. The ‘fake’ Fire is great but not as good to my ears as the TB.

I have been tempted to try Dragon .... I have genuine AQ Thunderbird and bought Fire from Ali Express. The Fire quality led me to be tempted to try their Dragon ... especially as I know what genuine TB is like. These cables are either out of the side door of the same factory used by AQ or...

I bought my PM1’s a year ish ago after having PM2’s and loving them. The PM2’s fake leather fell apart and I should have not been tight and just bought the PM1 first ! The sound is quite difficult to get with other makes and models. I also have Mr Speakers (as was, name now changed I think)...

Just listening to it on my TT2/MSc and it grows on me more and more. I have Focal Utopia and Stellia too ... but am loving the Z1R now more than ever !

I could have bought it as had just retired ... but knew I would buy other stuff too so went with the 'cheaper' option :D
