Need advice on full ear headphones
How portable do they need to be? What genres do you listen to? Why do you need active noise cancellation? The D2000 is not really a good portable headphone.- RainbowJack

What is it with people....
Just like a lot of things in life, with some people, it just pays to take the high road. You know your headphones are better, and you like the sound and enjoy them, so do just that, and forget what they think. It's ignorance on their part, just remember that and move on. It's often the same...- RainbowJack

Denon 5000 vs Senn HD650
For those looking to Electronics Expo, just keep checking, I think they regularly get a few items back in stock. That said, that's how I recently impulse picked up the 7000s for pretty cheap, a little over 500 new, just checked every 30 mins to an hour. And with that said, I don't have...- RainbowJack

Any suggestions?
He isn't saying there is a special place to get them. Just be on the lookout for deals. Type "The Deals Thread" into the search bar. Look there. ElectronicsExpo recently had them for cheap, I believe. Check the for-sale forum, etc.- RainbowJack

I need help deciding which headphones I should get.
So fitting that one of the posts floating on the top of the board right now is the "My Number One Gripe with Head-Fi Forum Members." And don't call it hyperbole when it obviously wasn't. People come here seeking advice, noobs like myself for example, and don't need statements like "M50 is only...- RainbowJack

Basshead headphones?
In this thread: http://www.head-fi.org/t/595146/beats-pro-vs-ultrasone-pro-900 someone says the bass in the pro900s makes their earlobes vibrate. You can search for the pro900s and you'll probably get some good information. The appreciation thread has thousands of posts.- RainbowJack

The Deals Thread (CLOSED! See the last post for the link to the new thread)
Wow, yes, OOS again. I guess for those looking for the deal just keep checking, seems they have a few in stock here and there. I sent an email to try and find out how long the MARCH2012 coupon will be good for, but I've yet to hear back. Hopefully some more folks can get them for this cheap.- RainbowJack
