It was $700 for 3 pairs as I got AKG n40 done too and some premium faceplates. 232 sounds identical but 022 has elevated bass to a degree I don't use any filter

This could cost $4k+ as this is the trend with TOTL units. People will pay, and in 4 years the next TOTL unit will pass $6k considering this trend and inflation.

I have not heard better match for metal in since I started listening to it in 1992. It has so much weight to the sound that makes it almost physical. It does not pair best with warm sources and requires smallest possible eartip you can find that makes good seal. Don't tick last two boxes and...
