Ferrum WANDLA - Impressions Thread
Thank you for great review! Quote from your review: "The user has the choice of selecting digital volume control, in which case all attenuation is done in the digital domain by the SERCE processor" Are you sure that digital volume control in not done in the es9038pro? I would really love to...- piaseczek

DAC <$10k buying advice, 3 choices
They mastered the marketing, it's so simple. Brutal reality shows that there is 6dB difference in SINAD. It's a lot. https://goldensound.audio/2021/10/12/dcs-bartok-with-headphone-amp-measurements/- piaseczek

Four years after the L.K.S DA004: the Musetec DA005 DAC
Unfortunately it seems that the implementation of high-end chips used in the 005 is wrong and the analog stage is too weak for the 2 x ess9038.- piaseczek

You could lower the level to 1.5v by using the digital volume control built-in ess9038.- piaseczek

Not a king of measurements, for sure it's worth to lower the level to 1.5v: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/musetec-audio-lks-audio-mh-da005-review-dac.34065/- piaseczek

Thanks for photos, could you please also attach some photos of the digital side? I'm especially interested what galvanic separation and line drivers are used in the 005.- piaseczek

L.K.S. Audio MH-DA004 Dual ES9038PRO DAC - Van Damme's double impact?
Maybe thick rubber (used in industry, vibroisolation) between the enclosure and the toroids will do the job? https://www.wibroizolacjapolska.pl/wibroizolatory-do-maszyn-i-urzadzen/p28-wibroizolatory-wibroizolacyjne-elementy-gumowe-G/- piaseczek
