Sony 100 AAP is great - check the forums here.   I LOVE the Blue Mofi bit it's rather more pricey.

I returned mine (MH40, tan). They were exquisitely made but sounded very SHOUTY and bottom end was lacking. Kind of irritating to listen to. Stop shouting music at me!   I had some conversations with them and I hope they'll be addressing the brashness in future headphones.

I disagree - the MT220 is wonderful but it is not a fast punchy headphone. That's why I use it extensively in recording. If it was punchy I'd end up doing things wrong in recording. I don't. It is gentle with presentation, a little unrealistically so, with a rolled off top (not losing anything...
