  I agree that the T1's have a better soundstage presentation no doubt. They are more precise in their placement of the instruments but the 770's are not far behind. Very close imho.

That's strange you can't play the 770's 250 ohm of your Fiio. I can play them just fine from my laptop.

In deference to Mad Max the 770's are better than just an ok all-rounder. They are sometimes amazing to the point I get down and bow down to them!

What I like about these is that they are easy to drive compared to the T1's. I can go straight out of my laptop with these no problem.   If I had the money I would have the T1's for the house with a tube amp. And have the DT-770's for everything else.....

That's what I was thinking. Also I was considering the Vali maybe it would be a little bit warmer. So it should compliment this Headphone.
