I apologize for the late response, but no. I've been leaning towards the AKG for a while now but I have not purchased a pair yet.

I can recommend the AKG K545 for your headphones. As for the DAC, I don't think you'll need one with a phone with specs as good as that for audio.

In my opinion, the extra money is worth it. For comfort and build, the dolphins are... moderate.

I'm a big fan of the AKG K545. However, it depends on your preferences for whether or not you will like it. What kind of sound are you looking for?
