Campfire Audio Polaris - New CA IEM

Thank you for your replies! From other reviews, frequency curves and your comparison (in combination with my preferences) I think my first priority should be to get a 2. hand Dorado, and then later consider which of the other I should try if I`m not satisfied. Additional information: My...

Is there an IEM that combines the smoothness and separation of Westone W60 with more bass (more V-shape)

It seems like Lyra II is something to read up on, but from what I read so far, it seems like the Dorado manages to be more detailed and seem to be an overall be a better performer. I am aware of the price difference. Would be harder to say no to Lyra II at a 500$ Massdrop price. I have never...

    Fostex x Massdrop TH-X00 Review

Does it have more treble response, or just more extension in hz? Do you know how the overall bass quantity is between these models?

    1964 Ears Adel IEMs

Have anyone compared 64 Audio U8 with U4? I did not manage to find any comparison.   I was considering the U8 at the last Massdrop, but I could not afford them. Do anyone know if there will be a new 64 audio Massdrop?

Is there an IEM that combines the smoothness and separation of Westone W60 with more bass (more V-shape)

Hello fellow headfiers!   When my Westone W60 broke (fell on the floor), I had to start looking for a new IEM. To date, the W60 are the best IEMs I have tried, with great instrument separation, huge soundstage and nice non-fatiguing smooth sound. However, they are actually not My favorite in...

RHA - T20 - Impressions, Reviews, and questions

Anyone know how the bass quantity of the T20 is compared to SoundMagic E10? I like the SQ of the E10, but IMO it could have a little stronger bass - sub bass and slightly more treble.   Is the T20 as forgiving to recordings as the westone W60/4R? I loved my W60 until it fell on the ground and...

Started with Denon D2000.....what should I get next?????

The difference between D5000 and D7000 is not very big. The difference going from D2000 and up to D5000 is worth it! My opinion is that the D5000 up to D7000 is not worth it, but if your wallet is big enough it may be worth it. I currently own the D5000 and have listened to D5000/D2000/D7000 in...

Kef Egg vs B&W mm-1 vs Kef x300a as desktop speakers?

Hi, I currently use Kef x300a as desktop speakers, and I previously had the B&W mm-1. I see that the new Kef Eggs got a good review in What Hifi, but there are no stores in Oslo that have these for audition. Have anyone here tried these speakers, especially for a desktop system? Any comparison...

Second IEM /upgrade from Westone W60

All of these have ventilations ports for bass? I did not mention it, but isolation is quite important as I will use them on the bus, next to noisy highways and in the office (with 15 other people). I guess that bass port in the IEM will increase sound that comes in, and also out (office)?

Suggestions to Closed sealing headphone with sound similar to Denon AH-D5000?

I ended up testing mostly portable headphones since the hifi-stores usually have open back full size or portable closed back. The 4 stores I know of have almost no full size closed back. Often only Beyerdynamic models. I know that the more "general" appliance stores have some more brands with...
