    Foobar help please.

Actually, it's more of me needing a link. I'm looking for the regedit/plug-in/add-on that allows you to play or enqueue a folder in Foobar with a right-click in Explorer. In other words, I'd like to be able to play a directory/folder in Foo by the context menu. I know it exists but I can't...

Deleting all songs off iPod ?

You could've also used CTRL-A where all the songs are listed in iTunes & press delete. Pretty simple.

    File Format?

It sounds like you're looking for lossless. I'd then recommend ripping with EAC(or the newest Dbpoweramp) & encoding to Apple Lossless. Here's a thread which should explain how to rip direct to ALAC thru EAC. http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/...opic=52431&hl= Personally I would go with...

I totally hate itunes is there an alernative?

Use the newest Winamp. Native Ipod support. Auto-sync(if that's your thing), smart playlist capabilities. It's iPod support has come a VERY long way.

    2nd G nano Damage Report.

I find this gen to be almost as easy to damage as the 1st gen. I've chipped the aluminum in quite a few places from falls, scratched the screen up some & have managed to scratch up the casing too. I'm not b#!*@ing; I'm hard on players & that always factors into what I purchase. Just sayin'...

What Are You Listening To Right Now? [#5]

Rollin' and Tumblin' - Bob Dylan RadioParadise.com. Pretty decent station , 'specially cuz they broadcast he-aac v2. I'm still floored by the quality of he-aac. Amazing really.

    First impressions of my Zune.

Keep us informed if you could. I'm kinda looking forward to the Zune. For music I'll always use a flash player, but as a video player it could really shine(once they improve the battery life). Hopefully someone ports Linux to it so as to support all the common compression codecs. I hope you...

Are you tone deaf? Online Test

Excerpt from the Home Page "You can find the test here. This is as much a test of musical memory as it is pitch perception. However, in our research on tonedeafness, we found that people who are “tonedeaf” have NORMAL musical memory. This is a rough screening test that we used to find subjects...

    Winamp or Foobar & why??

Foobar for me. I almost always choose what to hear thru Windows Explorer. What I like about Foobar is the very minimalist look. I'm not a fan of all the artists/album/playlist bloat in most media players. Also, you can't beat its transcoding/encoding capabilities. So simple. I do like the IP...
