    Best amp for Radius HP-TWF11R

I just ordered a pair of these IEMs, and I wanted to know what kind of portable amps would go best with it. I'm willing to spend around 100-150 dollars.   Thanks for any responses. I saw the Linearossa W1 as one possible choice.

    DAC Output Problem

What OS? If Vista, do this: right click little audio in the statusbar >> playback devices >>> right click your soundcard >> advanced >> if it's configured to allow an application to take control of it, uncheck that

DAC (no amp necessary) for use with optical output of soundcard

As the title says I need a DAC that I can plug into the optical output of my soundcard. It doesn't need an amp, because I already have one. The reason I need it is because my soundcard is emitting a "hissing" noise at high volumes which I think is being caused by my PSU or interference with some...

Help me pick a classical music gift for dad!

Does he like impressionism or romanticism a lot? You mentioned Mozart, Bach, and Beethoven. That isn't really helpful because those are the 'big 3', so almost everyone likes them. How about this 16 CD set of Chopin's Complete Works? Hyperion Records | Chopin: The Complete Works

Led Zep and Pink Floyd recommendations please

The Mothership box set is over compressed. I wouldn't listen to them. See if you can find some copies of the remasters done in 90/91 I think it is. Originals and not reissues if you can. I can't stress enough, DO NOT waste your money on The Mothership set.

Very good popular band with a poor recorded album: RHCP - Californication

If you're looking for a great pop album with dynamics, check out Emiliana Torrini's last album, Me and Armini. Almost an audiophile geared record.

There's a supposedly "unmastered" version of Californication floating around. I can't confirm the authenticity however...
