NEW - Campfire Comet and Atlas
Hello, I own SE846 too, so I'm very interested! Could you give more details about the comparison with the Atlas ? What about fit/comfort and sound : subbass, medium, treble and stereo image for instance ? I would like to know if I should upgrade or not. Thanks a lot for your help. Nicolas- nico_g

Shure SE846 Impressions Thread
Hello, your SE846 seems to be real : looking at tubes or engraving, but you will have to make some more tests like unmounting tubes in order to extract acoustics filters and see the inside of the Shure.- nico_g

Shure SE846 Impressions Thread
Hello I can confirm that the SE846 with AK (320 or 380) or Cowon Plenue is a very good match with no problem of hiss or too loud sound issue. For instance, with my AK380, sound level is perfect with a setting between 50 and 60 (on a 150 full-scale value).- nico_g

Hello One major point is that se846 is very sensitive and with low impedance. I think you should check those aspects with your sources- nico_g
