$720 for Beyerdynamic T1: is it a fraud?

Go with your gut, if you're asking here if it's a fraud you probably already know yourself, don't go through with the buy.

Do you really think all women are obsessed with shoes and clothes that much?  You need to get out more, expand your horizons

Yes and I wouldn't attribute that to womens lack of interest in these areas-we still live in a world where gender stereotypes still generally rule (take one look at this thread even if a lot of it is people joking around) and there's still plenty of sexism to go around.  Quote:

That's it exactly, what am I even doing here? My simple womans mind with it's terrible sense of direction strikes again!! I'd better totter back to the kitchen, sandwiches need to be made!! And then I need to gossip to my friends incessantly about pretty shoes and clothes and cooking and how...

If you're thinking about getting the HD558s, DO! (Review)

zmd: thanks I will take a look but for now I'd be afraid to try and mod them, god only knows I'd probably end up breaking them knowing my luck :p

If you're thinking about getting the HD558s, DO! (Review)

I just got the HD 558's the other day, I'm no audiophile so I can't give any sort of detailed description about the sound but for the time I had them (away for a few days now had to leave them at home) I really loved the sound overall! Great sound stage, and just a really open and airy and...

    Dr. Dre and his Beats.

I've never heard the beats and honestly I don't like how they look at all, but you've got to give it to whoever is behind the beats line apart from Dre, they're doing something right. It reminds me of apple-if there's one thing that apple above anyone else has shown me it's that to sell products...

Audio Technica M-50 is €170($230) in Euroland. Still worth it?

I've no advice only to say that I too was pretty disappointed at how much more expensive ATH seem to be over here (Ireland and UK), I was almost going to order a set of ATH A700 yesterday but you can get them in the states for around $100 or just over but here they were costing about €170!!

Hmm I did like the bass on my CX300-II... I've read about the mids being recessed in the A700s alright, ideally it would be best to try them out somewhere but there doesn't seem to be anywhere around here that has any more pricy headphones available to try out which is a big pain! The thing is...

Thanks for that info Ultrainferno, seems like one of the best prices I've seen for those alright! eucariote-haha you're confusing me again about what I should get!  Although for the little I do know about headphones I can assure you that I know even less about amps and the likes, I'm a total...

The HD600s are selling for around £250 where I'm ordering so they're a bit out of my price range at the moment and I have no amp so I don't think they'll work for me. Definitely swaying towards the ATH A700s the more I read on them (and they look pretty nice too I think which is a bonus!)

Hi eucariote, thanks for the advice. I was looking into the HD600s myself but they're a little over my price range (selling for around £250 where I'm ordering) and at the moment I've got no amp so if I were to get them I wouldn't be able to get any sort of amp for the time being so I don't think...

Yes they'll strictly be for home use, might pick up another set of CX300-II for portable use!   Quote:
