Woo Audio: NEW! WA7tp (tube PSU) Early-bird offer
Any possibility of getting a picture of a silver WA7tp with a black WA7(d) (or vice versa)? Would be interesting to have them contrast each other.- N080D7

DT880 Balanced Detachable Dual-Entry Recable Questions
I did finish with two mono chassis plugs and two stereo male connectors originally, but I am currently recabling my DT880's with the custom connectors that Moon-Audio has (in one of my previous posts) since they are smaller and very well made. I will see about possibly posting pictures this...- N080D7

It is clear, although it is slightly hard to tell even when you have the wire until you strip it. It is quite nice for such a reasonable price compared to most which cost more per foot.- N080D7

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Quote: Going with the Viablue is a good choice since I have used multiple of the Neutrik right angle plugs for interconnects and while they are nice due to their size, they are not exactly the best constructed without some epoxy glue inside. As for the pin portion, essentially the end...- N080D7

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Quote: I think it really depends on what you are using as your source and where it will be. I personally went with the Viablue since it is similar if not better constructed than Switchcraft connectors which are near indestructible by standard means. Also went with the Viablue since it...- N080D7

The Lune cable, certainly. The Lune cable is my favorite in that it does not have any memory effect and seems to be near impossible to tangle (other than the ear guides locking onto each other). You do need to be a bit careful though since it can snag and possibly be bent too much that you...- N080D7

Hmm, may just be that I swapped out stock original cable with multiple other cables that I had zero issues with the Westone when I received it. Which may explain why the stock does not stay in tightly anymore.... (just tried).- N080D7

Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10 Thread
Quote: The only issue you may have installing the cable is the same issue you may have with any other cable, getting the old cable out and the new one in since both require a bit of pressure. But as long as you keep even pressure on both pins you can slowly pull the old cable out and...- N080D7

Quote: Fortunately the Epic cable does not require any modification and I would highly recommend it for a replacement cable for the TF10's. The stock TF10 cable is by far the worst cable I have ever used; keeping all the bends from packaging weeks later after multiple attempts at...- N080D7

Quote: The Westone Epic cables are quite flexible, light, and reasonably priced. The Epic cable also keeps the TF10 stock sound signature compared to my Lune cable.- N080D7

DT880 Balanced Detachable Dual-Entry Recable Questions
Ohh, I am just curious. But I will be going with coax route, just trying to find the Switchcraft 35HD Series Locking Plug (preferably 35HDLBAUS) cheap since it is not available on Markertek (most of the parts I have picked out are cheaper) and it is a bit costly from Mouser. Edit: Sorry I...- N080D7

DT880 Balanced Detachable Dual-Entry Recable Questions
Having issues trying to find accurate dimensions on the mini XLR connectors. Anyone know how they would compare in size to similar 3.5mm connectors? Would prefer as small of a connector as possible, while remaining sturdy enough to survive semi-portable use.- N080D7

What might be even better is something similar to what Moon-Audio uses in their detachable cable mods. So I am wondering if anyone has anything similar (or the exact same thing for less), all help is appreciated. Detachable Mod DIY Headphone Connectors Picture In DT880- N080D7
