If anyone cares about the call quality when they buy their IEMs - the Beoplay EQs are pretty terrible when there is ambient background noise. I was racking some weights in the gym while on a call, and I was told "it sounded like an apocalpyse." I tried at home while moving around some hangers...

How is the call quality? I bought the B&W PI7 and for all its shortcomings the sound quality and call quality are top notch. I was in a busy airport and the other side could hear me clearly.

I've also tested it extensively with my airpod pros, and I feel that they are worse. I'm not sure what you mean by passively they filter so well, but when I get ANC I want them to be able to remove certain frequencies, and the PI7s definitely are very weak with high and mid frequency noise. I...

My pi7 came with three eartips in the box. The medium one that I used (the default eartips) would be a small with Spinfit 100 or 145.

The 360s do not fit the core, so suggest you try the 145s or the 100s.

He doesn't really go into the details of the ANC besides saying that it is one of the best. A lot of user experience on this thread says otherwise, and almost everyone I have heard owning these mention that it lets in almost 100% of the high frequencies.

I actually agree with you. I went to a supermarket with these in and I could hear almost everything. Turning the ANC on basically only removes the super consistent low hum around you and can't deal with any of the other ambient sounds. It's almost as if nothing is working.

For anyone that has a pair of the pi7s, how does the ANC compare with Bose QC earbuds?
