I must be in the minority. I've tried multiple different tips with my BL-03's, blue foams from T2's, Comply's. SpinFit CP240 L and others. But I like the tip that came with them the most.

Has there been any comparisons between the Senn IE800 vs Grado GR10 vs AKG K3003?    I have the GR10's and I absolutely love them! However I have been curious about the IE800 because of the open back.

Believe it or not, the wood cups are pretty light. Depending on design and wood used obviously. My GS225i are a little heavier than my SennGrados, but then again the wood was heavier and the cups on the GS225i are bigger. But honestly the weight is so much more noticeable than the original...

Introducing the Custom Grado GS225i DAMN they sound good! Now I just need to find the right color leather headband to go with them.

Ok well drivers have been successfully liberated. It's interesting that the ring that holds the driver on the I and E series has an extender. I was not expecting that.

As far as my ears go, the SR225e is a pretty major improvement over the SR225 and SR225i. More controlled and fuller bass. Highs are not nearly as bright. But personally I'm holding out for a pair of PS500e's and hopefully GS1000e's.
