Does this cable honestly sound better than the stock? Are there any cables that are black that are better than the stock?

I just use stock with my iphone and Spotify.

I like the stock cable. I commute with these in Seattle and wear them in my cubicle. I like being able to do a quick pause etc. Still freaking love these things. I use them every day communting to and at work. The sound keeps getting better.

On a side note I like the iphone adapter. I find it takes the beating vs my B&O cable. So after time replacing the adapter is much easier and preserved my cable.

There’s a video out there on YouTube showing a guy who cut holes in the foamies so there is no functionality lost using the AirPods. I did it and everything works. I can also angle the pods so they’re parallel with my jawline and done hand straight down, which imo make them look kinda silly.
