I'm gonna open this up.

piss and moan all you like the lcd-2 has all the musical qualities one could desire. The hd800 is  BRIGHT DYNAMIC. SOFT LIKE THE CHOIR BOY PREched suadamm insane. :)

lcd-2 anyone feel they sound valve driven with their concentric slap?  

Without being a smarty pants just a little more focus on the sound, the music enjoyed with the lcd-2, a bit more descriptive. It just seems a little too generic and sideline interest comments from people who actually own the headphones. Very little is expressed about how they sound...  

just a lil bored as a seasoned reader I just thought this whole forum could use being dumped on its head once in a while.

people obviously enjoy listening to their LCD-2 like a secret cult club but if you enjoy it so much how bout expressing it?  

SUCH BORING CONVERSATION you have one of the best headphones and all is talked about is the mimimalist effect of cables and amps that make little difference. WhT ABOUT THE MUSIC? wHAT DO YUO ENJOY ON THE LCD-2 AND WHY?E pEACE.

I own the LCD-2r2 and decided to pull out my tf10's and I'm actually enjoying it albeit eq'd tf10's they need it (quick eq)...Quick impressions are they faster tighter in the bass than the lcd-2? Ofcourse the lcd-2 is a better headphone again quick impressions more natural and full than the tf10.

seems some not so much love for the o2 here lol. So what are you missing out on with the o2? (case aesthetics aside).   On another note for something different maybe I should try a tube amp with my lcd-2?

the 02 works fantastic with my lcd-2r2 so why not the lcd-3, similar impedance? similar fr, related headphone family.
