Some of the posts on soldering stations are kinda old now, so in the interest of keeping up with the times, I'd love to hear recommendations of a good quality soldering station under $100! I've gotten suggestions between the Hakko FX888D and Jeremy's favorite (over at Project Garage) Blackjacks...

Also very curious what people recommend. I've heard someone really like the Pro-Ject Box S FL combined with the Crack for a warm buttery sound, but I personally haven't heard it.

Ah, not my question. More like, what things did you consider when adding to your headphone collection? I've heard both and like them both- this isn't a choice between the 600 and 650, but moreso between 650 and all the other headphones out there :)   Are they too similar in that money would be...

I had them both at an earlier point and originally I thought it would be overkill to have both, but with all the sales happening I'm increasingly tempted to get the 650's again since they sound different and I really liked them. Does anyone else have both? How did you decide which ones to keep...

I get how different headphones sound different and have different components, but since an amp is literally just an increase in voltage to better drive higher impedance headphones, how do "better" or more expensive amps make a difference from their builds? I would love if anyone could explain...

I've done a lot of researching around the web and Head-Fi and haven't found a clear answer. So if I have a decent amp and DAC, does having a soundcard as well in my desktop make a difference? I currently am running a Sennheiser 600 + Fiio E09k + Fiio E17 combo as my first set of audiophile gear!
