HD 600 Broken Male Cable End Won't Come Out
After much tugging and pulling I finally got it out. Let this be a cautionary tale to people who use the HD650 cable on HD600s.- lithe

HD 600 Broken Male Cable End Won't Come Out
It's baffling. The other cable end came out but only after pulling with a substantial amount of force. I'm thinking of epoxying a pushpin to the flattened plastic bit to see if it'll let me pull hard enough to remove it. Quote:- lithe

HD 600 Broken Male Cable End Won't Come Out
http://yfrog.com/5zimg20100915195458j The cable end broke off in the HD600s today and I can't seem to get it out. That warped plastic bit on the end of the driver refuses to budge. The damage is the result of trying to use needle-nose pliers to get it out. Any thoughts?- lithe

HD600 Dismantling Guide
Ok, so it's really stuck in there. I've all but destroyed the plastic bit trying to pry it out with pliers even after removing the driver entirely to try to get at it. So, my question is this: would freezing temperatures damage the driver in any way? I'm thinking it'll be a bit easier to...- lithe

HD600 Dismantling Guide
Quote: Well, it's not a bad solution, but I feel like it's an unnecessary risk if you can simply dismantle the thing and get at the broken piece directly.- lithe

HD600 Dismantling Guide
I've searched around and been unable to find one. The very tip of cable got snapped off in the female plug and, despite my best efforts, I can't get it out with a needle-nose pliers. I know that such guides exist and if I could remove the marbled band this would be a far easier endeavor. ...- lithe

Little Dot II++ Volume Control Issues
I recently got a Little Dot II++ from a member of these forums which has treated me quite well until just recently. For whatever reason the volume control knob has stopped functioning and the volume is locked far too low. Is this a common issue or one that people have witnessed before? Is it...- lithe

DAP vs Dedicated Source
I'm currently using a 3G iPod Nano as a source for my audio setup (HD600s w/ 650 cabling through a Little Dot II++ w/ Mullard Tubes) and wanted to know how significant of an improvement I'd see by getting a better source. As it is I have the iPod and Amp volume at about 85% when I listen and I...- lithe

SB0240 Is this a SB Audigy 2 Platinum or not?
I'm setting up a Little Dot II++ this week with an Audigy 2 ZS and is there any way I can get the Audigy 2 ZS to sound any better with such a setup? People have recommended setting it to "line-out" but I'm running Windows 7 and don't have a full-featured driver needed to make such a change, I...- lithe
