I have the Freya S but not the MJ3. The Freya does up the voltage of both XLR and RCA outputs. It also has a 4x gain increase too. I don't have my Tungstens yet to test how it well the Freya works with weaker amps pre-amped by the Freya.

I agree with you on this. I actually bought the clone of the V281 off of Aliexpress recently. It came with four unscrewed screws and both the front & back panels were just hanging off. The nuts to hold screws also fell into the amp, so I had to fish those out. It did work, after I finished...

Mimic-Audio just replied to my email about the how long the lead times are now, and they are at 25 weeks. I placed my order on December 19th.

If anyone is interested in the Violectric V281. The re-issue of the V281 will hit Power Holdings warehouse on 4/4. There's only 27 of those left. Violectric has not confirmed any more re-issues.

The wait is long, but I have been buying some upgrades in the mean time that makes it more bearable. I bought the Bifrost 2 upgrade card and I pre-ordered the reissue of the V281. Which that is supposed to ship next week!

I have waited longer for the Modhouse Argons, which was six months. My ZMF Auteurs were three months. Then another two months a few years later for the driver upgrade. Then there was all the Massdrop stuff I used to buy and then wait half a year for... The wait is not too bad really.

I emailed Mimic and they said that my Tungstens from December should ship out in April.
