The (new) HD800 Impressions Thread
I just bought a HD800. For now I want to buy a SS amp/dac with a budget of $750 MAX. It should be able to connect a tube amp for the future (e.g. Little Dot MK VIII SE or DNA Sonnet 2). So the dac should be good and the most important part of the combo. For now I'm set on an Audio-GD...- KriLi

DAC for LCD2.2-F and Soloist
Short question. Which DAC has good synergy with LCD2.2-F and Soloist? Or is a Mjolnir/Gungnir better for the money?- KriLi

For now the headphone I use is the Alpha Dog, HD800 on shipping. Next buy at the end of the year will be HE-6 or LCD-3. Budget max 1500 dollars, Burson...- KriLi

wtb closed headphones and a portable source
Those headphones do cost alot more than for instance the DT770, do they have equal or better comfort/noise isolation. How about the isolation between the full-size (DT770, ATH-M50x) compared to the on-ears?- KriLi

wtb closed headphones and a portable source
Hello fellow Head-Fi'ers, I want to buy new headphones, closed full-size or on-ear to use when travelling. Please don't recommend noise cancelling headphones or iem's. Tested last week a Bose QC15 and didn't like the sound at all. I also get irritations from iem's. At home I use...- KriLi

Quest to a new (audiophile) setup
Is it a better decision to spend more on a player with an internal DAC? With my budget I could buy the DT 1350 along with an Iriver Astell & Kern AK 100. Should it have problems driving an 80ohm headphone?- KriLi

Can you explane to me what the basic function of a DAC is? I thought that the DAC is used when connected to a desktop/laptop as soundcard.- KriLi
