LG V30
Very much enjoying the V30 with my Audio Technica E70s right now. Using some hybrid tips (silicone with memory foam inserts) and the sound is clean, balanced and fulsome. Darn fine, actually.- jusbe

NEW Audio Technica Multiple BA IEM: ATH LS50,70,200,300,400
So the hybrid ones have finally arrived. Decent fit (still not perfect, but that's likely my ears). I think they're good so far, as I now feel I'm getting a much fuller response from the E70s - for which I have increasing admiration. I may try the Bliss and Sony ones next.- jusbe

NEW Audio Technica Multiple BA IEM: ATH LS50,70,200,300,400
I'm still waiting for the hybrid ones to arrive. Have the JVCs in mind as well. Like the E70s so far, but getting in and out of my ears is fiddly and will take some getting used to.- jusbe

LG V30
I'm coming from a Nexus 6P. Probably nothing to write home about but it was a very good smartphone all around. I've had smartphones (Apple and Android) before but I can honestly say the V30 feels like I'm getting about 3x as much device as the 6P and iPhone 5S I had before. The depth and array...- jusbe

LG V30
Okay - just to be clear - streaming TIDAL through the UAPP app will *not* result in default resampling to 48kHz? It leaves tracks alone, like the native LG app? If so, great. That could work. ___ So, now using UAPP with bit perfect (when possible), variable bit rate settings (android bit...- jusbe

LG V30
Just signed up to Tidal (Hifi) this weekend. Will see if this is a noticeable improvement. Not really interested in tethering my smartphone to a USB DAC (I have TDA1543A NOS one made by Audiosector from some time ago). For home listening I have a 4x BB1704K DAC which is great. the V30 is for...- jusbe

NEW Audio Technica Multiple BA IEM: ATH LS50,70,200,300,400
Sure, you were right, and I sort of expected that in a way. Everyone's ear canals, listening experience and aural cortexes are different, so no one tip will 'rule them all' so to speak. But I'm curious - do you switch between all of these on your E70s? Or is there one you have settled on? And...- jusbe

The standard E70s tips are poor, frankly. And even the Comply memory foam items included are not that much better. I may order some Spinfits as well, as I see I'm going to have to play around with these to get the best from these ATH-E70s.- jusbe
