I've only had mine a month and am at less than 200 hours but I don't have the lag time you mention. Sometimes I might have to push a button again but I think it was more my "fault" than the hardware in those instances.

Hi all,   I recently purchased a SB Touch and, based on internet talk (including here I believe) I thought the Toshiba Canvio 1 TB drive plays well with it. I've not done anything to the drive since getting it - just put a few test tunes on the drive. I did get it to play once I think - but...

"You are practically compressing your SB Touch digital signal to 50% before it enters your 10SE. By doing this you lose bit-perfect output and limit the dynamics."     Being a newbie, what should I do to avoid this? Max out the SB volume with lower on the SE... or lower on the SB and...

Am I deaf?    I'm running my 10se to balanced HE500s with qaudio cables. Source is Internet radio or USB via SB touch on 50%volume setting... Oh, and high gain...   With all this, my 10se volume sounds best around 15-17.  Does this seem high?

Im in the same boat as you Stereodude.   Today hooked up the 10Se, SBT and HE500s for the first time. Only had low bitrate mp3s in the office to use (via USB) but even that sounded good. Can't wait for my qaudio cables to arrive and to play FLAC files. Early Xmas is good Xmas!
