Have you tried turning the Wifi on and off? I have the same with my AK240. Whenever I have the Wifi turned on and my phone close by, there is some noticeable interference.

DIY, not sure haha! I'd rather throw money in some direction and get something with an electrical plug back! :)   If there is no risk, as in short-circuit'ing the whole thingy, it might be an option if there are some considerable benefits when looking at DIY.

90-102 ... Isn't that quite loud.... I am running my JH Custom Roxanne's at around 32 vol on my AK240 and even that seems too loud to me from time to time...

    Interesting. What do you think so far? I am currently using my JH Audio Roxanne (custom) with an AK240. As I am tempted to the EL-8, I am scared that I might not be satisfied by the sound compared to the Roxanne...
