They are too bassy for me, and something I think they sound like wet farts. Even $80 Truthear Hexa sounds better.

I’m a big fan of the Apple dongles, but I’m in the US, so I’ve only experienced the US versions. I have a CX31993 that I tried with my iPhone 15 the first day I got it and immediately noticed EMI noise and I’m not going to deal with that. The Apple dongles don’t suffer from that issue at all...

I got a Pelican case for my daily IEM’s. It’s Velcro’d to the top of a speaker so that the cat can’t knock it off, and it’s plenty strong that if the cat stood on top of it that the lid wouldn’t even flex. This is the best/quickest way to store them and keep them safe.

But I’d say that if we want deep insertion with an Etymotic then we’d want a smaller size since usually our ears narrow at a deeper depth. I’m going to assume I’d want size small. I may try them eventually.

I want to try these, but do they not sell an assorted size pack?

So has nobody else gone from an older iPhone that has used the lightning to 3.5mm dongle switched to a USBC iPhone and used the Apple USBC to 3.5mm dongle? With my IEMs I feel that the 15ProMax and the Apple USBC to 3.5mm dongle sounds louder earlier and just seems to sound better. I think...
