So it's good enough to run with a pair of headphones that go at 26 ohms?

CAD MH510's with a bass boosting amp make them into bass cannons.

    best headphone for 90$

Try the CAD MH510 aka THE SESSIONS. they are excellent cans. they are better than the M40X and are on par with the M50X. They only differences I'd say between the CAD MH510 (The Sessions) vs the Audio Technica's ATH-M50x is this...   M50X has lack of balanced mids because of V/U shape curve...

    CAD Audio MH510 (The Sessions)

They reproduce audible low as 15 Hz all the way up to 18 kHz. And this is without burn in. They do hit as low as 1 Hz but it's mainly just air energy. I'd say the best reproduction is as low as 15 Hz and up to 18 kHz. I feel the sound signature is about neutral and subtle warm. It reproduces...

    Sennheiser HD429s still good?

m40x is better. (detatchable cable, easy to replace ear pads) - while the Sennheiser 429's aren't bad but the cable is gonna wear out. so are the ear pads.

Headphones better than HD280's at $100?

The CAD MH510's are basically a rebrand of those Numark Electrowaves. Because InMusicBrands or whatever owns the companies (AKAI, M-AUDIO, NUMARK, ETC).

Numark Red Wave vs Numark Electrowave

CAD MH510 is basically a rebrand version of the NuMark Electrowave.

Sony MDR-V6 Counterfeit comparison thread w/ Pics

This freaks me out I was going to buy some Sony MDRV6's off Amazon and now I am worried I might get a fake with poor audio quality. I remember when I first got a legitimate Sennheiser HD280 Pro lasted me years till the cabling finally had a short. Anyways. I really wanna get a decent pair of...

I liked the M40X. But I feel like M50Xs are all hyped up.
